Customer Service Representative

 

Job Description:

 

Our Customer Service Representatives must provide exceptional service while serving as the focal point between our client and their customers. They will have a vast knowledge of each product that our client offers as well as any services related to company programs. They will provide complete service to each customer with whom they have contact and always strive to build a strong rapport. Their main objective should be to provide effective troubleshooting in turn increasing customer confidence and overall customer satisfaction.

 

 Job Duties:

 

-Professionally handle a high volume of calls/questions about the products and services the company provides

-Efficiently collect the necessary information from the customer and assess/meet the customer’s needs

-Educate the customer on all applicable products and available services

-Resolve customer issues through outright resolution, preventing the need for the customer to make further calls regarding the same situation (follow guidelines)

-Meet and exceed the metrics outlined by the company

-Use smart decision making to maintain a balance between the policies of the company and the benefits to the customer

-Have a high level of troubleshooting skills any be able to respond knowledgably to any questions that customers may have

 

Qualifications:

 

-High school degree

-Have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in Customer Service (preferably in a call center)

-Be highly detail oriented and have a high level of active listening skills

-Be highly able to perform all computational and knowledge tests required by the client

-Be highly able to problem solve and be able to analyze specific cases

-Be highly able to identify customer needs and be able to clearly communicate the services offered

-Be highly able maintain integrity and commitment towards all information handled while delivering satisfaction

-Be able to meet the attendance requirements and other metrics involving punctuality and time management

-Be able to multi-task

-Be able to maintain confidentiality

-Have strong telephone and verbal communication skills
