Accounting Officers

 

Job Description/Duties:

- Responsible for recording/booking transactions in the accounting system on a timely

manner

- In charge of coordinating and providing requirements for any form of audit for the site

- Responsible for the generation of the periodic financial statement and preparing related

subsidiary schedules such as fixed asset lapsing, payable, receivable, advances, etc.

- Prepares periodic bank reconciliation and responsible in coordinating with the bank for

disbursement related information

- In charge in the processing of overall disbursement of the site with close coordination to the

- Finance Manager for the issuance of checks

- Monitors the employee cash advances and ensures timely liquidation thereof

- In charge in processing and ensures accuracy of the payroll register of all employees in the

site every cut-off and submit to the Finance Manager for review and uploading for bank

credit. Issuance of related pay slips shall be part of this responsibility

- Respond to all payroll related inquiry and responsible in the computation of final pay

including the request for check preparation

- Ensures that mandatory remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-ibig, and BIR) related to payroll

are filed on or before deadline set by the government agency

- Responsible in providing financial information and reports necessary for BIR, PEZA, and all

mandatory reporting related to site operation

- Operationally reports to the Site Director and administratively to the Finance Manager

therefore perform task/project that may be assigned by either of the two officers.

 

Qualifications:

- Experience in both a Training and Quality Manager/Supervisor capacity,

for at least 2-3 years in a BPO/Call Center setup

- Experience in establishing, developing and streamlining Training and Quality processes,

procedures and methodologies

- Experience in handling Australian Customers/Culture is an advantage

- Strong Customer Service and Technical Support, Trouble-shooting skills and experience

- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies preferably with Black or Greenbelt certification

- Knowledge of COPC Standards is an advantage

- Knowledge and effective use of Quality Management/Training processes and tools

- Highly proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint

- Highly skilled in Organizational Development skills and Training facilitation

- Able to Train and/or Coach employees in the absences of a QA Specialist or Trainer

- 90% English proficiency
