Job description
- Act as the first point for service request calls and requisitions through data and voice support (Helpdesk Assistant).
- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from clients.
- Plan and managed facility services such as housekeeping and catering.
- Ensure that all supplies and materials are well managed.
- Set up, maintain, and organize department’s files, information, filing and messages.
- Prepare and maintain RFP’s, bid information, other contract documents.
- Responsible for administration activities including the processing of vendor payments, preparation of vendor/client contact list including emergency contact list.
- Ensure general administrative activities under his/her control are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist the Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth running of meetings and/or events at the site.
- Provided backup support for the Facilities Manager in times of absence.
- Participate in Emergency Evacuation procedures including crisis management and business continuity.
- Manage all Health and Safety issues and actively participate in Health and Safety reviews.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager on a needs basis.
